Then the world changed. We advanced. We sped up. And these ancient systems took a quiet and mostly unnoticed hit. The single place of safety and focused learning, the porch, got consumed in two income households, soccer practices, church events, and the demands of modern life. More than leading to overwhelm and burnout, we lost the place of focus, where wisdom and an outside perspective used to keep us "dialed in."
The Threshold seeks to recreate this environment. The Porch is where vague theory is modified with the wisdom of experience hard fought for and an outside perspective.
